Graduate Studies for School Nurses

Immerse yourself in a master’s degree program designed for the unique challenges faced by school nurses. School nurses often represent the only medical personnel in the building, caring for a diverse and wide range population, whose ages alone may run
from 3 to 65+ years. Join with your colleagues, other pediatric specialists, who practice
in this non-traditional setting.

This graduate program brings school nurses together from across the country
to learn about, share and explore current professional issues. Nurses begin their
course work in the summer with distance learning prior to a three-week intensive
classroom residency in Boston. They return home to complete their summer courses
by distance learning. The school nurses continue to network with their cohort of
students and faculty instructors, completing the program in the fall and spring
by distance learning.
